When you book directly on the hotel's website, parking on the hotel's grounds is free once the permit is confirmed for your vehicle and stay. Open the link in your arrival email, select parking and register your number plate. Check the area, vehicle and period.

For other bookings, premium parking costs DKK 50 per day and must be ordered and paid for. A registered number plate is not by itself a confirmed permit or paid parking. There is also free public parking by the hotel; follow the signs for the area. Never park on the fire access road in front of the hotel.

Breakfast is normally included unless your reservation says otherwise. It is served in SALEN in the neighbouring building: weekdays 06:00–10:00 and weekends/public holidays 07:30–10:00.

Follow the instructions in your guestbook if you need to select a breakfast time. Any agreed special arrangement applies only to the specific reservation. Contact us if a link does not work or you would like to ask about extra breakfast guests.

Children aged 0–2 can normally share their parents’ bed free of charge, where the selected room allows this. Always enter every guest and child in the booking portal and choose a category with enough capacity. Extra beds and baby cots must be arranged in advance; a sofa in a photograph is not itself an additional booked sleeping place. Email us if you are unsure about room choice or capacity.

Yes. The hotel's locked bicycle room is a separate add-on at DKK 100 per bicycle per stay. Book no later than the day before arrival by emailing info@hotelsonderborgkaserne.dk, and include your booking number, stay dates and number of bicycles. Wait for confirmation and access instructions.

Yes. SALEN is beside the hotel and can be used for meetings, conferences and private celebrations. It has a stage, AV equipment, projector, microphones, blackout facilities, a serving kitchen, bar and terrace. Events can be combined with overnight stays by arrangement.

In Sønderborg, options include Torve-Hallen with Italian café and restaurant food, and Restaurant Flammen with a grill buffet. Check current information and reserve a table directly with the restaurants.
